Roughly 3-3.5’ waves arrived in California and the warnings and alerts have been downgraded to advisory’s. At this time there were no outages and we are issuing an all clear.

Our team is actively monitoring the earthquake/tsunami situation unfolding in Russia and the Pacific Ocean regarding the Tsunami activities. Being that this has been identified as a vertical/thrust earthquake, this gives a high risk for tsunami activity to unfold across the pacific ocean.

We are monitoring the situation and it is expected to begin hitting Hawaii around 12-1AM EST which would put the waves in the LAX area around 3AM EST. While we are confident that our facility itself will be fine (elevation factors), other significant challenges may present itself with backbone transit networks possibly being damaged in the area, should a major incident take place.

Our prayers are with everyone impacted already by this event and everyone in the path. If anything else unfolds in the meantime, we will be sure to let all of our customers know.
